(4816) Micro-irrigation nozzle-line
One of the tubes at the downstream end of a micro-irrigation system on which the emitters are mounted. Generally of small diameter (12 to 25 mm outside diameter). Usually one nozzle-line is provided for each crop row, or each pair of rows. The nozzle-line may also be a pipe with a porous wall, or a pipe that can be flattened, called sheath, which can be perforated or carrying creeps integrated into the wall at the time of manufacture.
